Notable Junior Performances from the weekend Devon & Patterson Premiers - Nicholas Pile 64* Hamish Thomson 53* having his first Prem game and Devan Vishvaka 51*. 

Year 6 Spencer Holmes - Jori Overend 50* and Nick Leitch 40* plus Momin Rahmin taking 4 for 11 including a hat-trick WELL DONE!!!

Year 7 North Wellington Zone team (Jville/Onslow) last week won their tournament making it a double for the club; the year 8 and year 7 zone WINNERS!  GREAT STUFF!!!

Hastings Cricket Camps January 2012

Year 5 Combined KC Design Johnsonville Team (Coach Kevin McAlister) recorded 2 wins and 2 losses, their two wins came from their last two matches against Cornwell Hastings and Napier Tech White. All of this team were attending their first cricket camp which provided an excellent development opportunity. A good time was had by all.

Year 6 Wrightway Homes Jville Team (Coach Anthony de Rose) recorded 2 wins 4 losses, this team had a great time and enjoyed some very warm weather during their 6 matches.

Year 6 Johnsonville Team (Coach Ian Leary) recorded 3 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie, most of this team were attending their first camp and performed very well with a number of players getting on the honours board.

Year 7 KC Design Jville Team (Coach Dustin Stephens) recorded 3 wins and 3 losses, an excited coach Dustin said his team had an outstanding time and played some great cricket.

Year 7 Devon Patterson Jville Team (Coach Darrin Thomson) recorded 2 wins and 4 losses, another team who enjoyed every moment of this cricket camp. By all accounts the coach didn't get as much sleep as he would have liked but all good once he got home. Check here to see photos from the tournament. 

Year 8 Devon Patterson Jville Team (Coach Jonathan Millmow) recorded 4 wins from 4 games, this was an excellent result from our top team who were missing two players to the Year 8 rep team playing back in Wellington.

Wellington Zone tournaments

The Johnsonville Year 6 Zone team played in the recent Wellington zone tournament (Coached by Ian Leary & Anthony de Rose). They recorded 2 wins and 2 narrow losses from their 4 matches and again performed very well. One player to watch in the future is Kayden Mullar who scored 161 runs from the 4 matches.

Tournament information

The club endeavours to provide as many opportunities as possible to play cricket and enjoy the game.
Some relish the extra chance to develop their skills at a more competitive level, others simply like to play for the love of it.  If you wish to participate in tournaments please tell your coach.
