Luke Woodcock capped off a great season for Wellington when he was named Wellington Cricketer of the Year at the Norwood Cricket awards on 14 April.  Woodcock was also named Outstanding Batsman and Outstanding Fielder of the Year.   Woodcock broke the record for runs scored in a first-class season for Wellington.  He scored 988 runs at 65.86 including a career best 220 not out against the Central Stags.  He also scored 183 runs in the One-Day competition at 30.50.
